This shade-loving, compact shrub is very versatile and has fragrant white flowers from spring to early summer. The fall brings vibrant reds and purples to this shrub’s foliage and it can last into winter. Given the “Award of Garden Merit” by the Royal Horticultural Society and listed as one of the 75 Great Garden Plants by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
