A beautiful tree with heart-shaped leaves that blooms on bare wood in early spring. Early emerging bees rely on Redbuds for nectar when little else is blooming. This tree is a host plant for pollinators and creates seed pods that provide food for birds who eat its seeds. This variety has a tidy, weeping habit and does not grow very tall.
