Tall spires of blue-purple flowers arise over bluish-green leafy foliage, attracting pollinators in the the late spring garden. False Indigo is a host plant for several species of butterfly and is visited by pollinators when blooming. The large seed pods provide an interesting fall and winter display. Listed as one of the American Horticultural Society’s 75 Great Garden Plants.
