This evergreen mat-forming perennial has needle-shaped foliage that spreads as a ground-cover. In the spring, it creates a carpet of blooms that add color to dry locations like rock gardens. It is very drought-tolerant and likes to be in full sun. Ground covers like Creeping Phlox reduce the need for mulch application to garden beds as it acts as a living mulch. We need 65 of these for our garden plan.
